Community Health Nursing is a required course that focuses on the knowledge and skill competencies required for community/public health nursing practice. Educational and clinical experiences are community- based, community oriented and population focused. Health promotion, risk reduction and management, and disease prevention for individuals, families, and populations in community settings are emphasized.
