AAPC
Experienced gastroenterology coders are encouraged to sit for the CGIC exam. CGIC certification demonstrates proficiency applying correct ICD-10-CM, CPT®, HCPCS Level II, and modifier assignment when reporting gastroenterology services and procedures.
