This program prepares students for a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Under the supervision of a registered nurse or health care provider, the practical nurse provides evidence-based and safe care in settings such as hospitals, clinics, schools and long-term care facilities. Graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX practical nurse licensure exam.
