Bates Technical College
Pacific Northwest Ironworkers and Employers Local 86 apprentices erect the structural framework for high rise buildings, bridges, power plants and towers, and place reinforcing steel in concrete forms for roadways, foundations, and structures. Welding, ornamental work, rigging and machinery moving are also part of this trade.
