Emergency Medical Technicians learn to manage, assess, and treat ill or injured patients both on scene and en-route to a medical facility, working alongside paramedics, firefighters, and police. The accelerated course is taught in modules that include lecture, laboratory, and field experience on an ambulance and fire engine.
