The purpose of the Aviation Maintenance Technician Certificate is to complete all subjects and materials needed to test for Federal Avia tion Administration (FAA) certification as an aircraft mechanic with ratings in Airframe and Powerplant. The program is designed to learn in a concentrated cohort format and complete all coursework in under twelve months, or three consecutive terms. Some courses in the program include Maintenance Mathematics, Aircraft Electrical Systems, and Turbine Engines.
