This program integrates the academic discipline of English with a comprehensive knowledge of appropriate teaching and learning strategies for secondary school teaching. Students work with advisors from both the School of Education and the academic content department and are eligible to apply for the Pennsylvania Instructional I certificate upon meeting all requirements.
