Salve Regina University
The major in Music Education is intended to prepare students to apply for Rhode Island teacher certification in grades PK-12. Students must audition to be accepted into the department and fulfill requirements for acceptance into the Music Education major. Music Education majors must complete a minimum of 120 credits to earn a bachelor's degree, including 41-44 credits of core courses and 75 credits in their major.
