The associate degree curriculum in communication provides training for communicating and dealing with people. The associate in arts degree prepares the student to move into a curriculum at a four-year institution leading to a baccalaureate degree, and then into careers in such areas as teaching, public speaking, consulting, law, announcing, and public relations.
