South Seattle College
This program provides training in welding theory, process, and application specific to the marine industry, with focus on shielded metal arc welding, tack welding, fillet weld positions, joint fit-up, back-gouging, and other shipyard skills. Students test for a range of maritime recognized certifications including NAVSEA and American Welding Society certifications.
