The Educational Instruction and Leadership Department offers degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. The Elementary Education Degree prepares teacher candidates to teach students in grades 1-6 and in some self-contained classes, grades 7-8. The Early Childhood option prepares teachers for grades PK-3.
