University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
The Department of Economics master of science (M.S.) degree is intended to complement Ph.D. programs from this and other departments. Students may obtain an M.S. while working toward a Ph.D. in economics or in another UNC-Chapel Hill graduate program; only applications from students already enrolled in another primary degree program are considered. In addition to coursework, a master of science student writes a research paper under the direction of a faculty advisor.
