English education offers Viterbo students the ability to pair the knowledge and understanding of an English major with the knowledge and skills to be an effective English teacher in middle school and high school settings. Preparation as an English teacher allows students to develop their own creative self expression, develop as writers, and increase their critical thinking through analysis of literature.
